ANTI-BURGLARY CELL, DWARKA DISTRICT EXECUTES ARREST OF 06 ACTIVE BURGLARS

New Delhi : ANTI-BURGLARY CELL, DWARKA DISTRICT EXECUTES ARREST OF 06 ACTIVE BURGLARS, WITH RECOVERY OF HUGE CACHE OF ANTIQUE ITEMS & 02 e-RICKSHAWS FROM.   ALL 06 BURGLARS PLANNED THE BURGLARY IN A HOUSE IN SITAPURI, DABRI, DELHI.  THEIR HEIST CONTINUED FOR OVER 10 DAYS AS THE COMPLAINANT WAS OUT OF INDIA.   HUGE CACHE OF ANTIQUE ITEMS RECOVERED FROM THEIR POSSESSION, ALONG WITH 03 e-RIKSHAWS USED IN THE TRANSPORTATION OF STOLEN GOODS.  The team of Anti Burglary Cell, Dwarka District has arrested six active burglars namely: -  1. Alok @ Pandit  2. Nandan @ Chhena  3. Rahul @ Nonu  4. Remo Paswan  5. Phool Chand S/o Dal Chand,  6. Santosh @ Kalu  and recovered huge amount of antique goods and 02 e-rickshaws.  On 21.07.2025, complainant Sh. Deepak Mehra S/o Lt. K.C Mehra, R/o Sitapuri, Dabri, Delhi, aged 62 years lodged a case vide e-FIR No. 80068286/2025, U/s 305/331(4)/3(5) BNS, PS Dabri, Delhi in which he alleged that his house was burgled by a gang of burglars from 20.06.2025 to 01.07.2025 when he was out of India to meet his son. Stolen items consisted of antique electronic items like radio, music system, speakers, amplifiers, studio camera lights, etc. Sensing the gravity of the offence, DCP/Dwarka District deputed Anti-Burglary Cell, Dwarka District to identify the burglars and recover the stolen items as soon as possible. A dedicated team of young and sharp staff of the Anti-Burglary Cell, Dwarka Delhi, under the leadership of Insp. Vivek Maindola - I/C Anti Burglary Cell, Dwarka, Delhi, consisting of HC Anil  HC Sandeep  HC Krishan  Ct. Subhash Ct. Rahul   Ct. Praveen  was formed under the overall supervision of Sh. Ram Avtar ACP/Operations Dwarka to execute the directions of DCP Dwarka, Delhi and to arrest the burglars involved in the above-said case.  

After investigation  above-mentioned team started analyzing the CCTV footage near the crime scene and saw a group of burglars entering and leaving the crime scene with the stolen items at night time from 20.06.2025 to 30.06.2025.  They stacked up the stolen items in two e-rickshaws. The team followed the burglars and worked tirelessly for 02 days and were able to identify 02 out of 06 burglars  Alok @ Pandit  &  Rahul @ Nonu  team mounted manual and technical surveillance over both the accused persons based on which several raids were conducted at Sagarpur and Dabri.  continuous work of the team paid off when one of the informers of HC Krishan informed that all the burglars involved in the above-said case were planning to sell the stolen items in Sagarpur area at about 08:30 pm in two e-Rickshaws. Team immediately set up a trap at said place. The team intercepted two e-rickshaws near Dada Dev Hospital, after which the team surrounded the burglars. After seeing the police officers, all the burglars panicked and tried to escape, but their efforts to escape were foiled as the team had already covered all the escape routes. 

All the six of them were nabbed. During the search of both the e-Rickshaws, 40 Tape recorders, 01 sewing machine, 08 music mixtures, 06 music keyboards, Drum sets, Cassette decks, 35 radios were recovered. All the accused persons, except accused Remo Paswan, have prior arrest records related to burglary, house thefts and thefts.
