International Yoga Day 2026 Celebrated with Fervour in Lajpat Nagar:-  Message of Indian Culture and Sanatan Tradition Highlighted

New Delhi, June 21. On the occasion of International Yoga Day 2026, Indian Brave Hearts NGO organised a grand yoga programme at Shakha Park, Lala Lajpat Rai Park DDA, Lajpat Nagar. A large number of local residents, social workers, RWA representatives and youth participated enthusiastically in the event.On this occasion, the organisers expressed special gratitude to Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi, stating that his efforts have given yoga global recognition and today people across the world are making yoga a part of their lifestyle. The United Nations has been observing 21st June as International Yoga Day every year since 2015. The theme for 2026 is "Yoga for Healthy Ageing".Addressing the gathering, yoga experts said that yoga is an invaluable heritage of Sanatan culture, deeply rooted in India’s ancient traditions. They emphasised that yoga is not merely physical exercise but a science of balancing body, mind and soul. The growing global popularity of yoga proves that it is ingrained in the life and values of every Indian, they added.Shri Arjun Pal Singh Marwah graced the event as Chief Guest. Special guests included Shri Rahul Adhlakha, Shri Praveen Gulati and Shri Pankaj Buttan from Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Shri Ajay Gupta, Shri Ajay Bhardwaj from M-Block RWA, and Shri Naveen Upadhyay from Vinoba Puri RWA.Indian Brave Hearts NGO volunteers Shri Jagjeet Singh, Shri Sachin Kohli, Shri Naresh and National President Shri Devender Panwar played an active role in the programme.On this occasion, sacred Rudraksha sourced from Nepal were distributed to yoga participants by Main Bhi Sanatani Trust. Representatives of the Trust informed that the organisation has been running a free Rudraksha distribution campaign for the past two years with the aim of connecting people to Sanatan culture and spiritual values.The programme concluded with all participants pledging to adopt yoga regularly, promote a healthy lifestyle and carry forward the legacy of Indian culture.
